Barkway Park Golf Club
Safeguarding
Safeguarding - The act of ensuring the protection and wellbeing of young or vulnerable people. This responsibility falls on each and every one of us.
Safeguarding Policy
The policy aims to avoid abuse of any kind against young or vulnerable people. Abuse can arise in a number of different ways - neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse or verbal abuse. The onus is on each and every one of us to identify such abuse and act on it.
To support this, Barkway Park Golf Club has adopted 2 safeguarding policies set out below. These are in keeping with England Golf's national campaign for all affiliated clubs to obtain accreditation in the SafeGolf scheme. SafeGolf is a partnership of UK golf bodies committed to promoting a safe and positive environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport of golf. Barkway Park Golf Club is actively seeking to gain accreditation under this scheme.
