About the Club

Barkway Park Golf Course is situated on the outskirts of Hertfordshire in the beautiful village of Barkway. It opened in 1992 and was designed by former LPGA tour player Vivien Saunders. The 18 hole golf course, once known as 'barren' and 'open', has really matured into a true test of golf. The plantations of Oaks and Sycamores are really coming to life, lining the holes and adding to the existing features. This includes the many ditches that meander through the landscape, breaking up the scenery, whilst acting as a challenge to the golfer.

Being Par 74 it may seem quite daunting, however, there are a mixture of holes including five Par 5's, which offer some great opportunities for birdie. Some long tough Par 4's, which will really test your long game, and three very different Par 3's that allow you to use all the irons in your bag.

Barkway Park Golf Course has become renowned for the quality of its greens, which are in play all year round (no temporary greens}. The clubhouse creates an enthusiastic and friendly environment, created by its very own staff and members. At as little as £12.50 a green fee, this really is a must play!
